Brazil Nut Allergy Resources

There are 2 allergens involved in allergy to brazil nuts.

Ber e 1 is a 2S seed storage albumin protein and Ber e 2 is a 11S globulin seed storage protein. Seed storage proteins are found in all nuts, causing people to be allergic to whole groups of tree nuts.
